Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi has met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting began around 11:00am on Monday (August 10) at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Bangladesh Secretariat.
However, the Prime Minister’s Press Wing has not yet disclosed the issues being discussed at the meeting.
It is expected that the talks may cover strengthening Bangladesh-India bilateral relations, stopping border killings, border management, trade, and various matters of mutual interest.
The two sides may also discuss ways to further advance the existing relationship between the two countries, along with various regional issues.
Details of the issues discussed are expected to be known after the meeting.
