The teacher has filed a General Diary (GD) with the Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station regarding the incident.

Dr. Md. Abu Sayed, Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology under the Faculty of Agriculture, filed the GD on Wednesday night (September 23).

In the GD, Professor Abu Sayed stated that he received a call on his mobile phone from an unknown number on Wednesday afternoon. Professor Dr. Md. Abu Sayed said, “An unknown individual called me on Wednesday afternoon, used abusive language, and identified himself as a member of the Sarbahara group. At one point, he demanded extortion money. He threatened to send men to my house if the money was not paid, and even issued death threats targeting my wife and children.”

He added, “I have informed the university administration about the matter and filed a General Diary at the Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station considering the security of my family.”
